Dagad Trikon Legend
The departing Avasthas of the Dagad Trikon rock left the elements of the prophecy in ten caskets spread throughout the world. The prophecy was intended to avert the pending destruction of the human race in initiating the quest for the Deep Way and the Gift.
Darkness, Dark Council
For Darkness, see under Thanatophor. The Dark Council gathered mostly witches and necromancers to plot the downgrading of the human consiousness and the extermination of the last Avasthas.
Dark Riders
See under Deadly Sins.
Daskalian Assembly
The Epistemic Daskalians aare the master teachers endowed with the direct perception of truth and hence pure knowledge. Their successive projections in history guided the world's civilizations and religions. All these forms are successive incarnations of the one primordial master. They are all-powerful but their capacity to lead mankind is inhibited by the fact that, unlike Thanatophor and his lieutenants, they respect human freedom. The Daskalian Assembly is called at the command of the primordial master.
First knight of the House of Falkiliad who dispatched the casket of the star with six branches.
Daya Devi (Mrs.)
Name given to the ancient primordial Goddess who walks on the earth in a camouflaged form to grant the powers of Angkura and Ananya and unwrap the Gift.
Deadly Sins (The)
Lust, anger, greed, attachment, jealousy, vanity and the seventh that pervades them all, pride. They appear in the saga as the dark riders, carriers of tendencies that infiltrate and corrupt human awareness, steering human being towards the Foul Rift.
Deep Way (The)
Knowledge of the relationship between the Outer and the Inner Worlds that was available to the first-born before the Great Schism. That knowledge entailed connection with the subtle forces of heavens and nature, knowledge and understanding of the deities, and bestowed through a ceremony of initiation. This initiation was reported possible only after the crossing of the Gate of the Elephant. Thereafter, the pilgrim could receive The Gift of Adivatar. The purpose of the Dagad Trikon quest was to rediscover access to this lost knowledge.
Auspicious time in the Avastha stellar calendar that brings the moisture of divine blessings.
The herald of the Chamber of Maat, where the Daskalians held Council, kept the Annals of the teachings of the Daskalians that contain the principles, knowledge, and practices of the Deep Way. Some chapters relate also to the history of Avasthas. These records are not normally available to any of the races living on earth.
Subjective opinion about reality springing from limited mental constructs that have the potential to generate diverging views, distortions, and conflicts. Favored approach of Thanatophor.
