Ai Giri Nandini composed by Adi Shankara, sung by Shankar Ramani

Shankar Ramani’s singing displays extraordinary technical skills, range and emotional content - it comes from from the heart. Ai Giri Nandini is a poem, written in Sanskrit by Adi Shankara, and is one of the greatest works ever addressed to the supreme feminine power. We cannot know what kind of music was played in Dagad Trikon ten thousand years ago, but there can be no doubt that they praised the High Lady of the Rock, who lived there among them.
